This is the first course and exam in the MCIA Caregiver Certification Program.
This training covers the regulatory requirements that the State of Missouri requires for a Caregiver. You are allowed to navigate to find the state regulations to look up any answers to use as a resource during the exam. Prospective certificants may take the exams as often as needed [additional fee required], and the exams are ‘open internet.’
The MCIA CAREGIVER CERTIFICATION PROGRAM’S EXAM A will open up for you to complete once you go through the online course content that covers the regulatory requirements per the 19 CSR 30.95.030.
Course Completion Requirements:
- The course content is self-guided. Audio-sound is optional throughout most of the course. There are a few audio bites throughout the course along with self-reading.
- The student will complete a self-guided foundational training course that will guide you through the regulatory requirements that the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) has put into place a program that provides safe and secure access to medical marijuana for qualifying Missouri patients through consistent regulation, enforcement, and education.
- The student will successfully complete the training course content and successfully pass the MCIA Foundational Caregiver Certification Exam A with no less than a score of 80%.
Upon the completion of this course, you will be confident in the Missouri State Law requirements and responsibilities for a primary caregiver; you will be competent in knowing how to find the answers to the state law, and how to stay abreast of regulatory changes; and you will be equipped to successfully pass a final EXAM at the end of this learning path with an 80% or higher to earn a Missouri Patient/Caregiver Regulations Knowledge Certificate.
